What is different for Christians, though, is that we not only strive to finish our own masterworks, we allow God to finish his masterwork, which is you, and me, and every soul in the world and all of his creation! In this way, everyone has a masterpiece which is their own life, and you are the only one-working with God-who can finish that masterpiece. And we have to chisel away-little by little, day by day- those rough edges of sin, ingratitude, anger and pride- to reveal a beautiful soul, a dwelling place for God.  This is the unfinished work of ourselves, our families and church to become masterworks, temples wrought by God’s grace.
