Well perhaps it is no surprise, that thousands of years ago, Jesus asked such questions. He was the master of such questions which-in a few words-invite us to consider our lives and what we value most.  And one of the more famous of such questions -happens to be in today’s Gospel. ‘What do you think?’ asks Jesus, ‘If a shepherd has a hundred sheep, and one of them has gone astray, does he not leave the ninety-nine on the mountains and go in search of the one that went astray?’ (Mt 18:12)
