Roumie’s ministry is ours too, in fact, it’s our very identity. From the day of our baptism, as St. Paul says, ‘those who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ.’ We are not trying on a costume. We are living out who we are called to be.  And like Roumie, the more time we spend in worshipping with Christ, the closer we become to him. The more we read the Gospel, the more we speak like Him. The more we practice forgiveness, kindness, and humility, the more His character becomes our character.  The saints of our Church, whose feast was yesterday in our church, today in the West, understood this. St. Gregory the Illuminator, St. Nerses the grace-filled and countless others spent their lives clothing themselves in Christ until people could see his grace shining through them.
