Greetings to parishioners of St. Hagop Armenian Church,
Invitation:The strong Armenian presence in the Armenian Quarter in the Old City of Jerusalem, make a rare visit by peacemaker Dr. Abdelfattah Abusrour (Abed) of prime importance. The noted playwright will visit Tampa from Sat. April 21 thru Mon. April 23, 2012. The distinguished Palestinian playwright and the director of Alrowwad, an independent center for artistic, cultural and theater training for women and children, will speak about nonviolent resistance in the holy land. Based in Aida Refugee Camp in Bethlehem, Abed is the initiator of “Beautiful Resistance,” a program that aims to replace the ugliness of violence with the beauty of creativity.
