Marian Major passed away peacefully on May 28, 2025 in Palm Harbor, FL. Marian was born in 1923 in New Jersey and moved to Poughkeepsie, NY in 1957. She taught at Clearwater High School for 17 years and was the first Guidance Counselor in the Pinellas County School for the Arts. Marian was a charter member of St. Hagop Armenian Church, participating in its women’s guild, choir, language classes and Parish Council. Click here for an obituary outlining Marian’s life.
